Tirupur: Student Federation of India (SFI) alleged that the cadres of Hindu Munnani party have forcefully used the students of government schools to join their protest against Sabarimala issue, in Tirupur today.

Following entry of two women of menstruating age into Sabarimala shrine, protests have erupted in the State of Kerala and several parts of Tamil Nadu, mostly by fringe political parties.

In a similar protest held today in Tirupur, it is alleged that the senior cadres of the Hindu Munnani have forcefully brought in school students of government school to join in their condemnation protest over Sabarimala issue. The protest was headed over by Kadeswara C. Subramaniam, the State President of the party.

Highly condemning this act, the SFI has urged the state education department and district administration to initiate action against them for ruining children with religion-based thoughts and provoking in them violence.
